Informational Essay Template
This is a great resource to help reluctant writers. It uses Google Slides, so it is completely digital! It includes notes for the different parts of the essay and an activity idea (I use former students' work, so it is not included). It also includes an outline, a transition words and phrases guide, an Informational / Explanatory Writing Checklist, a rubric for grading content, and a rubric for grading grammar! Remembering all the prepositions are very difficult for children. So, I made a Preposition Cheat Sheet for my students. It reminds them what a preposition is, a prepositional phrase, and what the object of a preposition is. Then it lists the most commonly used prepositions. It is a great resource for students to use.
