Doing the Math: It's Gift Giving Time
Have students complete this holiday activity to practice math addition computation skills, while also introducing mathematical life skills such as budgeting. This activity is modeled after the idea of adopt-a-family, so it could also lend itself to conversations about helping others in need during the holiday season. Students can complete this activity independently or in small groups.
