As a part of our study of Japan and as a way to review the sight words we had covered, I attached sight word cards to pictures of sushi I printed, laminated and cut out. I placed the pieces of "sight word sushi" in a bin of uncooked rice and provided students with wooden chopsticks to create a sensory bin/sight word experience they loved!
