Biomes (Pole to Pole)
This lesson uses a movie guide setup (with start and stop times) to take students on a tour of the world's biomes from North to South Pole. Use the "Pole to Pole" disc in the Planet Earth series.
Honestly, the students LOVE this film. It should take about 90 minutes to complete the whole handout, and I always use two class periods. It works well that way.
