After participating in the student-led National School Walkout on March 14th, 2018, where my students participated in an assembly discussing gun violence, many students still had things they wanted to say about the experience. So, we ended up having a discussion on Protest Poetry instead of what had originally been planned for class. The next day, I had students complete this Web Quest. I also had them write their own protest poems.
