Christian Christmas Program - "Messages from the Manger"

This is not your typical Christmas program. There are no costumes and no nativity scenes. There are, however, words of encouragement and faith and hope for those who need to remember the message of love God sent to us through the baby in the manger. Through narration that takes the congregation through the Christmas story and the poems and songs of 4 groups of students (aged 3-14), the four messages from the manger are shared -- fear not, God chose you, God guides you, and God is with you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY in Sign Language

Enjoy adding sign language to the Happy Birthday song! American Sign Language (ASL) is its own language with a unique syntax, a syntax that doesn't usually "match" the meter and lyrics of a song that is sung in an audible language. With that in mind, signs have been provided in this lesson that match the beat and words of the song "Happy Birthday" (rather than true ASL syntax). In other words, you can sing the song with your voice while you sign the concepts at the same time. Illustrations ar

But signed in ASL is the most beautiful presentation of all. This product presents all four verses of Amazing Grace. Word concepts are placed under each sign illustration and then are explained individually in a chart that lists and described each word.

It is my hope that this picture cue card will help your students choose a song they would like the class to sing with them during circle time or music and movement. One of my classroom jobs is “Song Helper” so the student that has that job for the week selects a song from this list. I have found this product to be helpful with nonverbal students and with students who choose the same song repeatedly.

After years of worn out songbooks for our Catholic Children's Choir, I decided to compile some of our favourite hymns in a simple songbook. The pages are numbered and there is a list of hymns at the beginning. This is an editable file so you can add your own favourites or change lyrics if your choir sings them differently. At present, there are lyrics for 46 hymns. I print these double-sided and use the staple and hole punch options on our photocopier to make booklets. I then put each bookle
