This activity involves researching the nutrition information for any five restaurants the student chooses. The nutrition information specifically focused on includes serving size, calories, fat, sodium and fiber. When I use this activity in my classroom I compile the results, taking a few from each student and create a short review presentation that includes a variety of different restaurants from McDonalds to Starbucks. The overarching idea is to promote moderation and awareness.
