TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I teach elementary music for grades K-5 (This is my seventh year teaching). In my second year of teaching, I was recognized as a semi-Finalist for my county's Rookie Teacher of the Year Award. I am currently a member of the Florida Elementary Music Educators Association, and have completed Levels I and II of the Orff-Schulwerk process. .

MY TEACHING STYLE

Due to there only being Orff Levels offered in Florida, my teaching is mostly Orff-Inspired at the moment. However, I also strongly connect with Kodaly teachings, and implement that into my classroom as often as I can as well, it is all self-taught. My main mission is to instill a love and appreciation of music into the hearts of every student I come into contact with
