TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have over 15 years experience teaching grades 4-8, and I am now an ELA teacher for 6th grade in California. I've published ten children's novels including CONFESSIONS FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S KID (Houghton Mifflin), THE PAGES BETWEEN US (HarperCollins), and THE CLASSROOM series (Disney). My passion is teaching writing to kids and teachers. I've presented to thousands of students across the U.S., and I've spoken at conferences such as NCTE (National Council for Teachers of English), the Hollywood Book Fair, and the Houston teen book fair.
