TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching third grade for 5 years. I have taught at title one school in which many students came from homeless shelters and little parent involvement. I am currently teaching in a public school with the complete opposite school make up. I am finding that my title one experience has made me grow into a teacher who wants to make the most of my time and resources. I am passionate about creating students who have a passion for learning. Kids are kids no matter what their background may be and I want to help all students reach their full potential.

I am a very hands on and passionate educator. I love small group, centers, and differentiated instruction. My classroom always has so many things going on yet all students are hard at work doing meaningful activities based on their ability and learning styles.
