I am a former educator who has taught in the South Florida area for over 16 years, and currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida My passion is to bring mental wellness to the classroom settings and in other parts of the community.

When I was in the classroom, I was heavy into creating songs for harder concepts. I used technology in having the kids create and present projects. I would have afternoon wrap-ups in a quick draw called what did you learn today. On Wacky Wednesdays and Fun Fridays the students would pull questions from Ms. B's cards of questions sharing their emotions and thoughts from the past week.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master's Degree in Psychology with a focus on Mental Health.

Before Covid-19, I held bi-monthly in-person teacher-burnout group sessions to help teachers who were suffering from burnout. I am looking forward to starting these back up again. If you are interested, please reach out to TheSeedSowingSistahMovement@gmail.com, and let's plan to meet virtually.
