After receiving a Master's in Education from the University of Michigan, I moved to North Carolina where I completed my Elementary I-II Montessori teaching certification. I have nine years of experience blending Montessori philosophy and educational practices with public school requirements and Common Core State standards. I value the instruction of practical life skills and work to instill a sense of independence and self-reliance within my students.
