TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This will be my 5th year of teaching in Chicago. I have taught 2nd grade, kindergarten, and I currently teach first grade!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I strive to create a differentiated learning environment that promotes problem solving, higher level thinking, and supports students in reaching their fullest potential. I am a big believer that hands-on, partner/group work helps to facilitate social growth and inquiry skills. I believe that before any learning can take place in the classroom, my students need to feel safe, comfortable, important, and most importantly LOVED!
