Sue Summers

I have taught all levels of Spanish, from kindergarten to high school, at various times in my 21 year teaching career. I've also spent many summers teaching Spanish at the local community college to grades k - 5 for the "College for Kids" and "Adventures in Language" programs, and to high school students for the Upward Bound program. My experience also includes teaching 7th grade World Cultures with a focus on Hmong, Japanese, Arab, and Chinese cultures. I have an MA in Spanish Language and Culture from the University of Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain, and a BA in Spanish and International Relations from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, IL. My undergraduate studies include summer Spanish coursework at Middlebury College, in Middlebury, VT, and a study abroad year with Middlebury College in Madrid, Spain.
