We are a mother-daughter team with a wide-range of teaching experience. We both taught in the classroom for many years before specializing our focus in our current educational roles. K works as a K-8 instructional specialist, curricula writer, academic language therapist, dyslexia therapist, teacher trainer, and staff development coordinator. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience at all grade levels. S is currently an elementary library media specialist with more than ten years experience working as a K-6 classroom teacher and remedial specialist. We are both passionate about learning and helping others experience success in their academic endeavors while inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
We are passionate about teaching and learning. We subscribe to a teaching philosophy that emphasizes learning as a creative, fun, and exciting pursuit. All children and teachers possess unique learning styles. Equipping teachers with quality materials that enable them to present instruction in multi-sensory and creative ways that inspire students and tap into their strong learning channels while strengthening their ability to engage all learning modalities in the learning process is a guiding principle in our work. We desire to inspire a love for learning and promote quality character development, creativity, and academic excellence in classrooms.
While we feel delighted and grateful for the honors and awards we have received, our greatest honor has been the opportunity to teach precious and unique individuals in a variety of settings ~ so fun and such a blessing!
