I am beginning my ninth year of teaching! I taught third grade for three years, transferred to the high school for a year of teaching ninth and tenth grade history, and then taught another two years of third grade. I am currently the gifted teacher for second and third grade students in our school district.
I believe all children have the ability to learn, and I'm not afraid to do whatever it takes to make that happen. My coworkers always told me I'd figure out that I couldn't do all those crazy things in the classroom. I haven't figured it out yet.

I graduated from Delta State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Social Studies. In 2016 I graduated from William Carey University with a Masters in Gifted Education.
I was born in Florida, raised in Louisiana, and moved to Mississippi right after I graduated from high school. I love art, my dog, and football, but most of all I love teaching!
