I have been teaching 38 years and have a Master's of Elementary Education degree. I have taught 4th grade Reading/Language Arts for 20 years. Within my school I have led professional development sessions and professional learning communities. It is my passion to help all my students to see their greatest potential. Teaching the whole child is my goal while making each day a memorable experience.
My teaching style uses brain based strategies. My students move, draw, interact with each other, listen to music, and work on projects. I enjoy using hands on activities where my students are engaged in their lessons. Read Alouds are a favorite!

I LOVE being a wife, mother, teacher and believe each day is a gift which is ours to open and cherish. Here in South Florida we have beautiful surroundings such as the Florida Keys and the beaches of Miami, Also, we enjoy our sports team such as the Miami Heat, Florida Marlins and the Miami Dolphins. My husband and I both are UF Gator alumni. Our children are our precious gifts. I am fortunate to be able to spend each day teaching the gifts of other parents and take my job to heart.
