I have 12 years of teaching at the high school, middle school, and college level. I have teaching certificates in Science, Social Studies, Engineering, and STEM.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Hands on, fun activities are great. Really like to have activities where students get to interact, create resources, and have fun doing so.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Biggest teaching accomplishment so far would be completing my EdS in Reading and finding ways to incorporate the ideas into my Science and Engineering classes.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

In addition to teaching science and engineering (a history at one point in my career) I also coach wrestling and soccer. I enjoy hiking, college wrestling and football, and music concerts. My wife, Emily and I have been married these last 7 years and we have a wonderful 3 year old daughter Gigi, who loves to "DO SCIENCE" at home.
