I have over 10 years of experience teaching elementary school students, with a focus on English Language Arts and Social Studies. I have also worked as a literacy coach, supporting teachers in implementing effective reading and writing strategies in their classrooms.
My teaching style is student-centered and inquiry-based. I believe in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, question, and collaborate. I integrate hands-on activities, technology, and real-world connections to engage learners and foster critical thinking skills.
Recipient of the "Teacher of the Year" award in 2018 for outstanding contributions to literacy instruction. Presented with the "Excellence in Education" award by the district for innovative teaching practices in 2020.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Al Quaraouiyine University, where I graduated with honors. Additionally, I have completed graduate coursework in Curriculum and Instruction, focusing on literacy development and educational technology. I am also a certified reading specialist and hold a TESOL certification.
Outside of the classroom, I am passionate about promoting literacy and education advocacy. I volunteer with local literacy organizations and serve on the board of a nonprofit dedicated to providing educational resources to underserved communities. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and exploring new places with my family.
