Primarily, I have taught in urban schools just north of Atlanta, GA that were incredibly eclectic not only demographically but also in terms of students' interests. I've also taught in a private middle school near my home (we went to Spain!) and developed classes for toddlers as a side business. Before teaching Spanish, I was a college instructor (I taught Communication courses) as well as a PC applications trainer. I also studied art and music before that. I try to write lessons that combine those skills to suit the task. A lot of my products use sound effects, which all have "Creative Commons 0"- type licenses. Kids need input, motivation to care about the other culture, and constant, personalized stimulation. These ideas form the basis of my products. I am in class an energetic, often silly teacher. I am a constant salesman for the need for multi-culturalism with my students.
