I have taught in a homeschool setting, virtual and brick and mortar. I have done each long enough to understand the quirks and awesomeness that each can bring to your life. I am also a mom of four, with special needs children. This experience allows me to provide a layout and scaffolding that is suited for both neuro normal and neuro divergent students.
I enjoy a project-based, cross-curricular learning style. These kind of assignments force students to apply what they know to real-life scenarios (removing the why are we learning this question) and help them grow their knowledge and skills in an advanced manner.
Four year Golden Apple Award (best teacher award).
I have a bachelor's in science and math. I graduated from U of M with a 3.9 GPA. I love learning, so I have worked to hone my literature and writing teaching skills as well.
I am a mom of four children, whom I love dearly. I am a teacher of hundreds, whom I have cared for and, worked hard to nurture and nudge to their next best level of learning. I have written a text book on Earth Science, which is helping many homeschool students learn this topic at a deep and comprehensive level.
