I taught SEL groups for three (3) years at a mental health facility. In that time I worked with clients aged 2-18 in a variety of age appropriate groups. I was in charge of coming up with skills and lessons that went along with them. I worked for one (1) year in Violence Prevention and Education at my University throughout grad school.

I graduated high school in spring 2016 and began college that fall. I graduated college with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology in December 2019. I then applied for graduate school and began school again in the fall of 2020. My original graduation date would have been May 2023. However, I got incredibly sick in August 2022 and had to defer a semester due to hospitalizations. Since, I have graduated with my Masters Degree as well as completed my first year working as a School Counselor.
I am incredibly passionate about mental health, mental health awareness, and violence prevention. I worked in violence prevention on my college campus for a year where I created and gave presentations on different forms of violence seen on college campuses, different demographic statistics, and educational presentations on types of violence, and recognizing it in the media.
