TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Since finishing University in 2009, I have worked as a Secondary English and Humanities teacher at an all-boys school in and two co-educational schools.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in creating a calm classroom environment where students feel safe and respected. As a teacher of English and the Humanities, I feel a structured approach with plenty of modelling of tasks is the best way to support students in their learning.

Following Secondary school, I completed an Arts Degree with Majors in English and History at the University of Melbourne. Following this, I undertook a DipEd(Secondary) and am currently part-way through a Masters of Education.
