TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm in year 10 of my position as a Kindergarten to Gr. 8 Music and Dance specialist. It's been one heck of a learning curve, but I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of this! And now I finally have my 700+ students' names all memorized!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a Kodaly music educator, working out of two Catholic schools in Ontario, Canada. I teach ukulele with grades 6, 7 & 8, and recorders with Grade 4 & 5. However, even with those instruments added in, I still sing each and every class, with EVERY one of my grades! I lead the children of our schools in Liturgical music once a month singing the hymns and music for the Sunday morning Mass.
