Since 2012 I have lived in Stockholm, Sweden. During this time I taught Upper-Elementary General Music and Choir while also leading our Music Department as Head of Department in developing the curriculum across both our Upper-Elementary and Middle Schools. For the 2021-2022 school year, after moving back to the US, I taught K-5 General Music and Choir across two schools at a district near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Cambridge International Qualification in Educational Leadership

I studied at university in the US, majoring in classical voice and earned a dual-certification in Instrumental and Vocal Music Education K-12 with a minor in Piano.

When I moved to Sweden, I was thrown into unfamiliar territory and had to quickly learn how skills I attained through my education could be translated to a foreign curriculum. Being in a situation at a new school where I had next to zero resources to work from, that first year ignited my creativity in regards to building my resource bank. I swore to myself that I would never let that happen to another teacher if I had the opportunity to offer them ideas and resources - which brings me to TPT. I hope you enjoy!
