TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently a teacher candidate in Penn State Harrisburg’s Teacher Education program! Along with that, I have been teaching in early childhood since 2019.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I follow a Progressive teaching philosophy where my main focus is the whole child and group collaboration. I concentrate on my students strengths and interests to individualize instruction. Creating meaningful lessons that connect to real life is my goal.

In October of 2023, I had the opportunity to meet children’s literature author, Salina Yoon! I highly recommend her books for SEL integration as they highlight friendship, emotions, curiosity, and adventure.
