I am a former high school math teacher who now homeschools four amazing blessings. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and College Algebra as well as homeschooled and tutored kids at all levels of math.
I try to give students a chance to explore math topics on their own as much as possible. I also love encouraging math discussions among students and as a class. We can all learn so much by hearing another students' ideas or perspective!
In college (James Madison University) I was the recipient of the Thompson Learning Future Mathematics Teacher Award.
B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Education and Master of Arts in Teaching, both from James Madison University.
