We are Richard and Shannon, married K-6 music teachers, one retired and one still teaching. Between us we have over 65 years of classroom music experience. As well as being a music teacher, Richard is also a choral composer whose works have been performed throughout our home province of Manitoba and across Canada, as well as in Australia and the Netherlands.
Our teaching styles encompass the Orff approach, the Kodaly method, Phyllis Weikart's movement principles, the use of recorder, and choral singing. Over the years, we have both created numerous K-6 music units both thematic- and concept-based. We are working toward making these units available on Teachers Pay Teachers.
