TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Maneuvering the Middle is focused on providing student-centered math lessons. On the blog you can find valuable tips for lesson planning, classroom technology, and math concepts in the middle school classroom. After seven years in middle schools around Texas, I feel privileged to focus on high-quality engaging lessons. Allowing you to do what you do best, teach. I believe that the combination of a teacher who cares and engaging materials can’t be beat in the classroom. Thanks for allowing me to join in on the journey. Maneuvering the Middle on the Web

MY TEACHING STYLE

By helping students to master math concepts through real life experiences and connections, they are more likely to retain the knowledge and be able to apply it. In my classroom, we do lots of hands on activities to keep the learning fun and engaging.
