K teacher for the past 5 years but loving my transition to 4th!
These past few years have been a tremendous learning experience. I have learned that you must; have clear expectations and consistency in the classroom, structure and routines are a teachers' best friend, teaching life lessons are just as important as the curriculum, and strive to make your classroom's community a supportive and loving learning environment. I'm learning everyday and each challenge provides a new opportunity for improvement.

I have been teaching for two years now. Currently, my school is piloting a Kindergarten and 1st grade split with "ability grouping". It has definitely been challenging, but I love what I do! Every day we grow and learn more about what works best for kids.
