Little Monster's Classroom

I have been teaching for almost 10 years and during that time, have also run several home businesses which I've been able to use to contribute to a wide variety of fun activities in the classroom. I have taught soap and lip balm making classes to children and adults. I have operated a graphic design business for over 4 years and have taught Adobe Illustrator along with many other computer programs to students of varying ages. I also have worked closely with special needs students for many years.

I view myself as a facilitator of education. I actively work to collaborate with my students in order to ensure lessons with high levels of student interest. I feel that it’s important to ask guided questions that lead students to discovering their own answers. I help my students to construct their own learning by using techniques such as finding analogies between new and old information, problem solving, looking for patterns, hands-on activities, and determining the relevance to their own lives.

I have achieved the Silver Level on Zazzle, where I sell my graphic designs.

I absolutely love working with children and have 2 of my own. I have been teaching for almost 10 years and during my time spent at home when I had my children, I focused on my graphic design business.
