TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught middle school English, Social Studies, and Playwriting for 9 years in Philadelphia. I am now an instructional coach and mentor to teachers.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love cross-curricular projects and bringing the Arts into the classroom as well as project-based learning. Students engage with many novels throughout the year and enjoy using literary criticism to challenge their perspectives. In the end, I truly believe that education should not merely give knowledge; it should equip people to use it to better their world.
