A bit about me—I've spent the last five years teaching in various corners of the world, from being a 5th grade history teacher to 5-8th grade health teacher. Now, I find myself here in Warsaw, working as a part time middle school teacher and FULL TIME curriculum creator. My passion for teaching? Well, it goes way back. I was that five-year-old, holding mock lessons for my ever-patient dog, complete with PowerPoints and all. I'm all about exploring new ideas, trying out different approaches, and learning as we go.
I'm big on making our classroom a space where it’s cool to try new things, test out ideas through roleplays and simulations, and basically learn by doing. Take a glimpse inside on any given day, and you'll spot us moving around, diving into activities led by the students themselves, and fingers crossed, sharing some good laughs along the way.
My mom thinks I'm pretty great!
I received my bachelor's degree in Intercultural Peacebuilding with a minor in Political Science from Brigham Young University. I currently have certificates in Mediation, Special Needs Education, Conflict Resolution, and Conflict Management.
