I have taught Pre K, K, 1, and 2nd. I have 17 years of teaching under my belt. I have my masters in differentiated instruction and am currently in LETRS training. I have also spent time teaching overseas during the summer, both at an international school in Okinawa, Japan and at an orphanage and primary school in Kampala, Uganda.
From the beginning of my teaching career, I have been passionate about finding ways to make learning fun. I have learned to do this in a purposeful way to still be meeting standards, including the common core. I love finding ways to incorporate music and movement into our lessons. My goal is to create active learners who are excited to come to school each day.
Yet to be added

I love traveling, painting, biking, and snuggling with my pup.
