I have taught in a variety of Elementary and Middle Schools. I did not think I would settle into Elementary Physical Education but I am here to stay and I love it!
My approach to Physical Education is to teach whole-body health. In fact, I tell people that I actually teach health, wellness and Physical Education. I teach to four domains: Skill, Knowledge, Fitness and Social-emotional development. I believe that progress is key and movement is essential.

I studied Exercise and Sport Science in Undergrad and then I went on to receive my Masters degree in Teaching.
My own passions for fitness and health are the guide posts for my role as a physical education teacher. My ultimate goal is to equip students to be able to pursue a lifetime of health, wellness and activity.
