I have been an educator for 22 years. Within those 22 years, I have taught from 5th to 8th grade. I currently am a middle school history teacher and loving every minute of it!
I consider myself a "techie" at heart, so most of the activities that I do in my class have some level of technology integrated within it. I also enjoy PBL (Project Based Learning) which allows your students to delve into topics in a much more meaningful manner. I'm also a proponent of cooperative learning, and try to integrate it within the structure of my class as well as most activities.
