TEACHING EXPERIENCE

-Four years teaching 6th and 7th grade US History (in both gifted and inclusion setting) -Participant, Curriculum Design Committee (Social Studies) -Mentor to new social studies teachers -Social Studies Dept. Head for middle school

MY TEACHING STYLE

Keep students engaged from the minute students enter the classroom until it's time to leave! Anyone who teaches middle school students knows that any down-time is a recipe for disaster! Most activities I've designed are structured to last 20-40 minutes, along with time for a warm-up and wrap-up questions.
