Happy Camper Schoolhouse

In 1996, I started my education adventure as a preschool teacher. Not being a mom yet myself, I gained a whole new appreciation for parents, a child's first educators! When I went home at night to quiet newlywed dinners, I would think of all my little students and how delightful they were, as well as how important the task of parenthood was! I also worked in school administration before becoming a mother in 2007! Suddenly I was the one with a little, adorable, dependent human and I was humbled and blessed beyond my wildest imagination. We now have 2 daughters. This education adventure has continued as we now homeschool them and are loving it! I am now in my 4th year of teaching classes for grades K-6 at our hybrid school where students take classes each week. My goal is to provide educators and parents with fun, easy tools to make learning a joy and an adventure!

The best teaching style is that which engages the unique qualities of students, each with their own learning style. What works for one student, may not be the best method for another. Teachers must be good detectives in order to learn how to ignite that spark in each unique, precious child.
