TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for over 25 years. I teach or have taught U.S. History, World History, World Geography, Sociology, Civics, and Modern Issues. I am a technology leader in my school and like to push the envelop with various technologies in the classroom.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love trying new lessons, projects, and technologies in my classes. I am innovative and love to get all of the students involved daily. I like to have fun and want my classes to enjoy learning.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have received the Award of Meritorious Service from my state board of education. I have presented several times at regional and statewide conferences dealing with technology in the classroom and creating engaging, fun history lessons.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I hold a master's degree in instruction and classroom management and received my bachelor's degree from Monmouth College in Illinois.
