With over twenty-eight experience as a music specialist Deborah's passionate about sharing her love of music with teachers and children across North America and abroad. Through storytelling, drama, song, movement and instrumental play classical music comes to life! Fun with Composers Music Resources also publishes high quality Orff music resources including Fun 'n Games Galore by Sue Harvie and Fun with Music 'n Yoga Adventures by Allison Tipler. These resources provides a wealth of innovative, user-friendly materials which inspires both teacher and child! Digital files are available for all resources. The internationally recognized Fun with Composers series is being implemented into highly regarded programs such as the North American Montessori Centre, Core Education and Fine Arts, Music for Young Children and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra's Elementary School Concert Series.

Deborah embraces the Orff approach - a holistic style of teaching incorporating storytelling, drama, movement, song and instrumental play. Deborah's love for storytelling is evident as every music lesson revolves around intriguing characters, movement and action-packed fun!

Fun with Composers was nominated for the prestigious Round Table of Canada Award for Children's Literacy and was a recipient of the Childrens Moonbeam Award in North America. The Fun with Composers Just for Kids Guides and Teacher Guides received Best Resources of the Year in the Canadian Library Resources Guide. The Just for Kids Guides were best sellers in Scholastics Canada and other reputable US retailers for years.
