TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My name is Casey Jeffers and I began teaching in 2010. I taught Kindergarten for three year prior to third grade for nine years. I now teach 2nd grade! Yay!

Frederick County Public Schools 2017-2018 Teacher of the Year Quarter Finalist, Master Teacher for the Maryland State Department of Education in Financial Literacy, 2015 Nominee for the Charles E. Tressler Distinguished Teacher Award in Frederick County, MD. I was named the 2021 National Education Association Member Benefits Teacher of Excellence Award winner

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received my AAT from Frederick Community College, then obtained my Bachelor of Science: Early Childhood Elementary from Towson University. Then I received my graduate degree in Instructional Technology from Mount St. Mary's University. A National Board certificated teacher candidate - completed and passed 1-3, working on 4.
