I have been teaching a "Moderate to Severe" Special Education SDC Classroom for 10 years! Each year is a new, fun ride of experiences and lessons. The reality of a universal curriculum for my students is similar to me seeing a real unicorn. To best support my students skill development I have been creating my own my materials for years. I really enjoy sharing my ideas with other teachers!
My job as a moderate-to-severe special educator is to empower the student to become as independent as possible while still adding fun activities to the day! I want to give them the necessary tools to help reach their full potential.
