TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in primary school for almost 40 years, most of it in Ireland, but ten of those years were in UK. I have taught mainstream classes and special education. My more recent experience has been in mainstream classes in upper primary school, among 8 to 12 year olds.

MY TEACHING STYLE

An early mentor once said to us: "Give of your very best to the children of the nation. That's patriotism." It's a saying that has inspired my best teaching.
