I have over 25 years educational experience and am a current classroom educator. I have teaching experience in Primary, Secondary and Tertiary and leadership experience in small rural, and large K-12 schools. I co-present The Curious Christian Teacher podcast and have co-authored Transformation by Design: Crafting Formational Learning.

I'm at home in any classroom setting from kindergarten to university. Throughout my career, I have remained connected to the ‘chalk face’ of education where I have the opportunity to constantly hone my practice alongside my students. I love the ‘art and science’ of leading learners through an inquiry. I love considering the range of pedagogical practices I have at my disposal and ensuring my teaching inspires, liberates and encourages students to learn. I’m a motivational, inspiring educator. People say I am a gifted communicator and storyteller able to ignite interest and instruct others. I am committed to creating a learning environment where student effort is honoured, and students are invited to engage in and develop a love for learning.

We love gardening, living grounded authentic lives, travel, music, chess, entertaining, wholesome food and good coffee.
