Crosswalk Curriculum

Welcome to my store! I've been teaching for 17 years, and I have a passion for creating cross-curricular learning experiences for my students. I am an active duty wife who has been fortunate enough to teach in many states and countries. For the first eight years of my teaching career, I taught elementary grades 1-6, and for the past 7 years, I've been teaching in the middle school grades. This year I am an elementary STEM teacher.

In my classroom, I create cross-curricular lessons that integrate different content areas into science, including non-fiction reading and writing, math, engineering, social studies, and art. Why? Because this is an efficient way to teach several content areas at once! Teacher cross-curricularly is also a great way to "hook" your kids with an engaging lesson set.

My biggest honor (and award) is to teach my kids! I have received Values Awards in my district for two years.

I have a BA in Art Education, a BS in Chemistry, and a Master of Arts in Teaching.

I am a mom to a high school student and a wife to an active duty service member. We also have a very active cat and an orange dog. I've lived in California, Idaho, Alaska and Germany among other locations.
