I have taught for 23 years. My main focus has been 5th and 6th grades in public and private school settings. I have worked as a mentor teacher, on textbook adoption committees, curriculum development, coached Academic Super Bowl teams, etc.
My teaching style is to give students traditional responsibilities with fun, modern breaks. I love to develop new games and activities to allow students to put learning into practice. This encourages kids to lower their guard, allowing me to look for misconceptions that I can reteach.

The reason I do what I do is to support my wife and children. I decided years ago that if I couldn't deserve them, I would at least appreciate them.
