I've been working as a pediatric speech-language pathologist since 2009. I have several years of experience assisting children in the areas of articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, pragmatic language and fluency as well utilizing a diverse technical range of alternative and augmentative communication devices.
I believe in building a relationship with my students and finding creative ways to fully engage them in therapy. I love making materials that inspire them to want to practice, learn and grow!
I'm a recipient of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association's Mentoring Pair Award for original research in the field of speech-language pathology and am a Sertoma International Scholar in Communication Disorders. I'm also the author of the book set Articulation Theatre for Group Therapy with Northern Speech Services.
I have a Bachelor's of Arts and Master's of Science Degree in Communication Disorders and am a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. I am also PROMPT trained.
