I have been teaching since 2000. I began my teaching at Northview High School. While at Northview, I taught every grade from 9 through 12. I worked there for seven years before going to Wetumpka Jr. High School. During my tenure there the school merged with another and became Wetumpka Middle School. I taught both 7th and 8th grade. In 2011, I joined the Eclectic Middle School Family and have been teaching 8th grade since my transfer. I have taught every subject offered in the Social Sciences and every grade from 7th through 12th. I graduated from Dale County High School in 1996. Then from Wallace State Community College in 1998, with an Associate in Arts and Science. I then graduated from Troy University Dothan in 2000, with a Bachelors in Education. I also earned my ministerial degree from Berean University in Springfield, Missouri. More recently, I earned a Master's of Global Studies in 2021 from Liberty University.
I love teaching. It is certainly one of my greatest passions. I meticulously incorporate the Socratic Method of teaching in all my classes. I enjoy hands on and project based instruction/learning as well. I am a life long learner and endeavor to gain new ground each year.
