I have been an educator for 30 years and a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) all of my life. I am currently a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing from PK-12. In addition, I have experience as an elementary and high school principal and was a long-time 5th-grade teacher.
I am an empathetic, caring teacher who creates a safe learning space for my students. I am attuned to trauma-sensitive practices with an inclusive style enabling me to tailor my teaching to my students' needs across the curriculum.
