TEACHING EXPERIENCE

It is my 10th year teaching. Two of the years in a Middle school, the other at the High School level. All years but one are in a Nassau Country Public School.The one year was in a Charter School in NYC. I have taught 7th and 10th grade Health, 9-12 PE, Dance, Life-skills Special Education Health, Child Development and Independent Living.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I closely follow NYS Standards and Common Core requirements, although they are heavy on ELA, Math and Science since Health and PE are not fully designed yet. My lessons are all skill based, have cooperative components, and support an interactive learning environment. Many are made to assist Multiple Intelligence's, as well as Comprehensive assessment. Most lessons have a technology component, and are user friendly for students with modifications.
